The big step into blogging.

Launching into the big world of modern technology can be a very frightening step.
People who are familiar with this technology speak in a strange tongue, with words I am just starting to understand a little.
I keep on reminding myself that from little things, big things grow.
Because this is my first post I should introduce myself,
I'm Lorna of Ladybird Carpet Care, Gawler South Australia, and I commenced my carpet cleaning business this year after completing my training at Australian Carpet Cleaning Institute ACCIinfo@theacci.com.au

As this is a new venture for me I have had a lot to learn and fortunately for me I discovered Nabec which stands for Northern Area Business Enterprise Centre www.nabec.com.au. This is a Federal Government Funded Organisation established to help small business operators, in all areas of business operations. Experts and advisors, training and support what ever area of need a small business person may have Nabec is there to help.
I am also envolved in our local 'Nabec Women in Business' and we are having a very exciting launch on Oct.14th. at the Gawler Arms Hotel. There will be cocktails, a mini business expo, guest speakers, lucky door prizes and networking opportunities. For more info. contact Virginia at Nabec.
